Material Handler

Job Details

Our client is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join their shipping department in Lowell, AR. This is a full-time position offering a competitive pay rate of $17 per hour. The ideal candidate will have experience in material handling, with a focus on order picking, pallet moving, and staging products for production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order Picking and Preparation:
   • Accurately pick orders according to customer specifications.
   • Move and stage pallets for production.
   • Ensure that all products are properly packaged and labeled.
2. Shipping and Receiving:
   • Assist in loading and unloading shipments.
   • Operate forklifts as needed, although not for the entire shift.
   • Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments.
3. Product Staging:
   • Stage products for production, ensuring they are ready for the next steps in the manufacturing process.
   • Coordinate with the production team to meet scheduling requirements.
4. Quality Control:
   • Inspect products for damage or discrepancies.
   • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
   • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow instructions and ensure product quality.
• Willingness to Learn: Open to new tasks and processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Work History: Stable and recent work history demonstrating dependability.
• Experience with Scan Guns: Experience using scan guns is a plus, but not required.
