Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Fulfillment Center Manager to join our client’s distribution center team in Lowell, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional time management, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong focus on process optimization and leadership. As an Assistant Fulfillment Center Manager, you will support the Fulfillment Center Manager and Director of Operations in overseeing warehouse operations, fulfillment, and shipping activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement best practices for warehouse management to continuously improve performance and effectiveness.
  • Assist in daily work assignments for staff, coordinating personnel and resources efficiently.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations while ensuring inventory accuracy. Inspect inventory upon arrival, document damage, and report freight claims as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, ensuring all equipment and physical assets are in good condition. Report and address any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Provide strong customer service support to the production team, prioritizing deadlines and objectives with a sense of urgency.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and safety protocols, including regular compliance audits and timely reporting of incidents.
  • Lead by example in enforcing safety policies and procedures while investigating and reporting all safety incidents or violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team success and facility efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of warehouse experience required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Forklift certification is required.
  • Experience loading and unloading full and light truckloads using a forklift or pallet jack.
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles, including sprinter vans and box trucks.
  • Strong computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities and collaborate effectively across various departments.
